The JAM component of Jiffy gives a Centralised view of all your digital workers from one single console . Its is the administrator console to manage product updates, license upgrades, monitor server infrastructure and for starting and stopping of bot machines, viewing server and log details etc
The inbuilt orchestrator of Jiffy enables optimal bot utilisation and dynamic bot scaling. Using the JAM module of Jiffy under the Jiffy Service Option, you can view the various machines that are configured and Start or Stop a service to activate that machine The concept of Machines & Clusters allows users to group multiple machines under one Cluster Configuration and assign the relevant Cluster name at release level execution configuration
For example, lets assume a Bot started in Machine 1 that can be used only for Web & Excel automation and another Bot started in machine 2 can automate SAP, Web and Putty. During execution, all the nodes ready for execution will be available in the queue and the Bots which are idle at the moment would pick up the nodes for execution based on capability. If the Web iterations are available, both the BOTs would pick up those requests and execute. If the request that is pending in queue is for Excel, it would be executed only by Bot1 which has Excel capability. In case the number of Bots are increased and added to the same cluster, the nodes ready for execution would be picked up by the additional bot as well. Thus the Machine-Cluster settings assists Jiffy users in achieving the Optimal utilisation of available bots and with the help of JAM Centralised bot management is made possible
Below are the key functionalities available on JAM :
Dashboard – Core application statistics/details, RAM usage, Disk usage, Database usage
Jiffy admin – Core application management, Jiffy service management
Deployment– Manage Jiffy patch/upgrade/version deployment/management
