Client / BOT Configuration

Hardware Requirements:

Following are the standard hardware pre-requisites to install and run Jiffy Client - BOT on a Windows environment.

Note: Refer to the architecture diagram here for a comprehensive list of ports.

Software Requirements:

.NET 3.5:

Steps to install .NET 3.5 in Windows server 2012 / 2016:

Go to the Server Manager -> Add Roles and Features
Click on the Next button.
In the Features section, select the .Net Framework 3.5 Features
Click on the Next button.
Click on the Install button and close the window.

.NET 4.5

Java 1.8

Google Chrome version 60+ and the corresponding driver:

Note:
Go to C:/Python27 and check if the ChromeDriver version is the same as the Google chrome version you are currently using. In case it is not the same, download the ChromeDriver with the version that matches with the Google Chrome you are currently using. Rename it as chromedriver.exe and replace the old ChromeDriver in the C:/Python27 with the newly downloaded one.
Also, make sure that the language used in Chrome is English.

Allow RDP Connections:

Steps to enable RDP functionality:

Go to System -> Advanced system settings -> Remote
Select Allow remote connections to this computer check box.
If the Allow connections only from Computers.. checkbox is selected, unclear the check box.
