This example consists of Excel node with multiple rows of data, Data table node to iterate on rows and Web UI node to use the data in each row of web page. For this example consider flight boking activity in cleartrip application. Data for origin, Destination, Depart date, No of Adults traveling, No of Children travelling and no of infants travelling is present in an excel sheet. Data from each row is extracted and the web page is automated.

Design steps

Excel node �
1. EXCEL COMMAND to open Excel and provide Excel file path 2. EXCEL COMMAND to select sheet by name and provide sheet_name as input. 3. EXCEL COMMAND to Copy to table to copy the range the values from the excel sheet to a table variable. Provide the Range as input and store the table with values in output variable �varTable�. 4. EXCEL COMMAND to close file and provide the Excel file path. 5. EXCEL COMMAND to close excel.

Mapping to Datatable �
Map the variable in which table is stored.

Data table �
Select variables from the properties of Data table node. Variables mapped to the node will appear in the Variables screen. Select the type of the variable from dropdown1 and select the value as FlightList from dropdown2.

Mapping to Web UI �
Map the data from data table to Web UI node. Select variables From, To, Date, Adults, Children and Infants from left hand side and click on �Add� button(One at a time).

Web UI-
The task consists of a single WEB UI node with the following steps

  1. SET SCREEN command to set the screen to the module �Search Flights� created in UI learn.
  2. UI EVENT to select the control �Origin� and provide the input from Datatable.
  3. UI EVENT to select the control �Destination� and provide the input from Datatable.
  4. UI EVENT to select the control �DepatDate� and provide the input from Datatable.
  5. UI EVENT to select the control �Adults� and provide the input from Datatable.
  6. UI EVENT to select the control �Childs� and provide the input from Datatable.
  7. UI EVENT to select the control �Infants� and provide the input from Datatable.
  8. UI EVENT to select the control �Search flights� and provide the action as click.
  9. A Default Expression - DELAY In Seconds is used � this is an optional step.
