How to restart Jiffy Client/Service?

Version: This solution is applicable for all versions of Jiffy.

Pre-requisites: Administrator access in the system.

Steps to solve:

• Go to the folder path where JiffyService is installed.
• Usually it is in C:\jiffyservice
• Find the .bat file named : StartJiffyService.bat
• Double click on the file to open it.
• The command prompt window opens up which shows the Jiffy Service logs.
• To stop Jiffy Service, press ‘Ctrl+C’ in the command prompt and close the window.

How to restart Secure Vault?

• Login to the Jiffy core server as 'jiffyapp-usr' user using putty/SSH terminal.
• Execute the following commands to start the Secure Vault process.
cd $JIFFY_HOME.vault.d
sh vault_launcher.sh
sh vault_unseal.sh
• Check status of Secure vault using the following command.
vault status
  
  
• The status will be displayed as the above screenshot once the secure vault is started successfully.
